Mary Van Keuren is a writer and editor with more than 30 years of experience in the profit and non-profit worlds. She served for many years as the Director of Publications for Nazareth University in Rochester, NY, where she edited the award-winning college magazine Connections. As a freelancer, she works with colleges and universities throughout the U.S., including the University of Rochester, Northeast College of Health Sciences, and Hobart and William Smith Colleges. Prior to this, Mary was an educator at St. Mary’s Secondary School in Lushoto, Tanzania, East Africa.
